Lip Lock in Fade Out
This stuff rocks! Its affordable, not overly drying, matte, and doesn’t budge! I also bought the eyeshadow primer and my shadow has never looked so amazing!! I will be collecting more Lip Lock in other colors, and am thinking about purchasing the Nudes palette as well! This company makes professional grade cosmetics, affordable, and also donates to a great cause. It’s a Win-Win!!

I’ve discovered with the three colors I’ve purchased that one coat is sufficient for me. I also purchased Snuggly and Tamar, but Fade Out is my favorite. It looks best with my skin tone (very pale, cool undertones). And this stuff stays on!! I used to use LipSense, but it irritated my lips too much and cost an arm and a leg. So I waited patiently (kinda) for Karity to come out with their own after they announced it (sometime in the winter, right?). This stuff is so nice, feels good, stays on and doesn’t injure my piggy bank. I added a lip gloss over the top and the oils in the gloss didn’t break down the Karity color as fast as I thought it would. So love this stuff!!

I recommend this lipstick. This applies very thin and wet and looks stunning. That being said, its liquid lipstick so dry is the name of the game. I was impressed with the ability of the lipstick to not smudge but it's only staying power is if its dry. If you take a sip of water, if you smile or get the inside water line wet at all, it wears off quickly. The fade is okay but looks pretty patchy so you need to carry it with you and reapply after meals or beverage consumption. Also, if you buy this product do not apply it like you would any other liquid lipstick - in my opinion it looks best if you apply in the center and dab it out for a more natural looking line on the edges. Due to the wet and liquidy formula, if you apply it up to the edge of your lip with the doe foot, it looks very harsh and the edge is very noticable almost like a lip liner.

I've never liked lipstick, because I'm quite sensitive to the taste and smell. I wasn't expecting much from this - I just thought I'd try it because I liked the colour. Much to my surprise, it applied really thinly - you can barely feel it! And, it quite literally doesn't smell or taste like anything. The only downside is that It looks like I'm going to have to buy all the colours soon. Good thing it's so affordable!
