My personal preference is a liquid liner. But I use a pencil liner for under the eye. The formula lasts all-day, survived watery eyes, and smudging. I struggled with trying to use it for a cat-eye, However, I will switch to this as my under eyeliner. It is cheaper and just as good as more expensive liners I have used in the past.

I loved using this item. The black is a very true black, not tonal too brown or blue, which is really nice. Very smooth in application, does not need a lot of pressure or pulling. It stayed in place until I was ready to take it off too. I tend to have a problem with liner smearing because I have oily skin but it really stayed in place during wear. Will definitely buy again and again!

I purchased two different eyeliners. I preferred the automatic liner over the gel eyeliner. The gel liner did smudge somewhat . The automatic liner seemed to work better, plus you don't have to use a sharpener.
